Essentially there has been a change in how the system captures effort that is impacting effort reporting for awards that end in a pay period that crosses quarters. Please see Judy’s e-mail attached. As such, the University policy is that it is NOT REQUIRED to correct the period of work performed and the effort can be certified in the current quarter.
confirmed with OSP ecrt leadership that if an award has ended in a pay period that crosses quarters, it is alright to leave it as long as it matches the GL. It is also OK to perform a PWP performed journal to correct it, but it is not required and if below the threshold you can always request for the effort to be voided.
